Founded in 1978, with headquarters in Ripley, Derbyshire, UK, and a prestigious new manufacturing facility, we are equipped with a full range of CNC machine tools, including 5 axis multi-tasking capabilities, utilising the latest high-speed cutting tools in conjunction with our Unigraphics NX CAD/CAM technologies. Extensive engineering and supply chain management resource complete the service we can offer.

The breadth of available capability provides a first tier, single source supply to the world’s leading power generation, defence and nuclear engineering manufacturers. Encapsulating design-for-manufacture and collaborative engineering disciplines including testing, assembly, supply chain management and kitting, adding competitive advantage to our customers world-wide.
Whilst providing the capacity for volume production of machined components, we are determined to maintain our ability to respond to the specialised requirements of lower volume purpose built equipment. Hence, we maintain our capacity to offer the high integrity fabricated and machined components required in the areas of engine testing, process machinery and nuclear applications.

Our Machining Division, with over 6000 sq m (65000 sq ft) of manufacturing area, provides a totally integrated capability for the precision machining, testing and assembly of complex components for the civil, military, industrial and marine power generation, defence and nuclear industries.

We also provide services, through our dedicated Project Management team, which includes Design, Finite Element Analysis, Fabrication, Machining and Installation of process or test equipment. Specialist high integrity fabrications up to 30 tonnes can be supplied either to your drawings or designed around your specifications; either way, we will provide the service necessary to ensure your needs are translated to the finished part. Design and manufacture of high speed packing and packaging machinery for the Tobacco, Pharmaceutical and Food processing industries is another service that we offer.

We specialise in the machining of difficult-to-manufacture, performance-critical components from a complete range of aerospace alloys, both ferrous and non ferrous and including the exotic alloys such as Nimonic, Inconel, Waspaloy and Titanium. Machined components range from small prismatics through to rings and casings up to 3m diameter.
