Fire Rated Access Panels
Manthorpe Fire Rated Access panels provide fire resistant openings in both ceilings and walls to allow for maintenance and adjustment to engineering services and utility controls.
All panels are fire rated to one hour as defined in British Standard BS476: Part 22: 1987.
The Fire Rated Panel is a high quality, robust solution, suitable for everyday use, with all the advantages of an access panel. Each panel is finished in powder-coated white steel which can be over-painted to match the surrounding surface. They are fitted with a catch lock opened by a simple ‘T’ key, supplied.
Lockable access panels are supplied with a more substantial Euro Cylinder lock for extra security.
Fire Rated Panels must be secured on all four sides with a protective layer of resistant board fitted around the perimeter of the frame.
Note – All Manthorpe product sizes refer to the opening into which the product will be installed. They do not refer to the physical dimensions of the product.
